Sync & connectivity
Organized by the symptom you're seeing. For background, see Offline-First Sync.
"My data isn't showing up on my other device"
Most often the device that made the change hasn't synced yet.
- Open the Mobile App with a connection so its outbox can drain.
- Give it a few seconds after reconnecting — sync runs automatically.
- Still missing? Open Sync Diagnostics on the phone. It shows exactly what is still queued, whether anything errored, and lets you run a sync by hand.
"I'm getting a sync conflict"
A conflict means the same record was edited in two places. It's not lost data — OmniBurrow is asking which version to keep. Follow Conflict Resolution.
"The app says I'm offline / changes are queued"
That's expected in the barn — keep working. Your changes are saved on the device and sync when you're back in range, and they are never discarded.
To force it or to see what is waiting, open Sync Diagnostics and tap Run sync. A pending count that will not fall while you have a connection is the one thing worth investigating there.

"The camera or a QR code will not work"
See Camera & Scanning.
"A scan says the rabbit is not in my herd"
Usually that rabbit has not synced to this phone yet — it was added on the web app or another device. Run a sync from Sync Diagnostics and try again.
