Account setup

Creating an account takes a couple of minutes and starts a 14-day free trial — no card required. One account covers both apps: whatever you enter on your laptop is on your phone in the barn, and the other way round. You only need to create the account once, on the web.

Create your account​

Accounts are created on the web app, at app.omniburrow.com. The mobile app has a sign-in screen but no sign-up screen, so start here even if the phone is where you plan to do most of your work.

  1. Open the sign-in page and choose to create an account.
  2. Confirm your email address.
  3. You land on your dashboard, and your trial is already running.

Nothing else is required before you start entering rabbits. Everything below can be done later.

Set up your rabbitry​

Your rabbitry name is the one setting worth doing immediately: it greets you when you sign in and it is printed on your pedigrees and cage cards, so setting it before you hand a pedigree to a buyer saves a reprint.

Go to Settings → Rabbitry name and add or edit the name.

The rest of Settings is grouped into sections you expand as you need them: Appearance, Growth & production, Calendar & reminders, Pedigree & PDF, Sales email, Cage cards, Clover assistant, and Marketplace & storefront.

Worth doing on day one

Two settings change numbers all over the app, so set them before you log much data:

  • Expected average daily gain — defaults to 1.5 oz/day. It drives growth charts and projected butcher dates.
  • Target butcher weight — defaults to 4 lb 8 oz, the centre of the ARBA fryer class.

Both are under Growth & production on the web and Herd settings on mobile. Everything else in Settings can wait until you reach the feature that needs it.

If you sell through the marketplace, note that Settings → Marketplace & storefront has its own "Rabbitry name" field. That one is your public storefront name, and once you set up a storefront it is the name buyers see on your listings — separate from the rabbitry name on your pedigrees and cage cards.

Sign in on the other app​

Sign in with the same email and password, and your herd appears. There is no second account to create and nothing to link.
