Quick Log & Search
Quick Log is the + button on the mobile app: the twenty-odd things you do most, two taps away, in an order you choose. Search is the other half of the same idea — one box that finds a rabbit, a litter, a contact, an inventory item, or a grow-out group without your having to be on the right screen first.

Tap + anywhere in the mobile app and the actions appear in four groups — daily care, herd & breeding, records, and sales & more.

The two scan actions drop you straight into Barn Scan in the right mode, which is the fastest route into a weighing or health round.
Configure Quick Log actions
The default list is a guess about your rabbitry. Change it in Settings → Quick Log:
- Turn actions off you never use, so the menu is short.
- Reorder the ones you keep, so your most common job is first.
At least one action has to stay enabled — the app will not let you empty the menu.

The search box sits in the dashboard header on every page. Results are grouped by kind, and there are also direct jumps to screens — typing "weights" takes you to the page rather than searching your records for it.
Tap the search glyph in the header on any main screen. Search runs entirely on the phone against your local copy of the herd, so it works with no signal and returns as fast as you can type.
What search matches
Five kinds of record, and it is worth knowing which fields each one looks at — searching the right thing is the difference between one result and none.

Two things that catch people out:
- A rabbit's cage number is not searched here. Cage numbers match litters and grow-out groups. To find the rabbit in a particular cage, use the search box on the rabbits list, which does cover cage number — see Rabbit Records.
- Registration numbers and tattoos find a rabbit on the phone but not on the web. If a search comes up empty on the web, try the rabbits list instead.
Matching is a plain substring match anywhere in the field, so a partial ear tag works. Results are capped per section, so a very broad search shows the first few of each kind rather than everything.
