Data Entry Sessions
A data entry session is for when you have one thing to record and many animals to record it against. You choose the set — all your rabbits, just the does, one breed — and then work down the list entering a weight or a health event for each, without opening and closing a record every time. On the phone it is called Rapid entry.
Start a session

Go to Dashboard → Data Entry and pick a tab: Weights or Health.
Open Rapid entry — from the + (Quick Log) menu or the navigation — then choose the mode and the set of animals.
The set can be all active rabbits, does only, bucks only, or one breed. The screen tells you how many rabbits match before you start.
Only active rabbits are included. Animals you have marked sold, deceased, rehomed, harvested, or reference are left out, which is almost always what you want when you are walking a barn.
Working through a list
The session puts one animal in front of you at a time with the field you came to fill in. Enter it, move on, and the next animal appears. Nothing else is in the way — no profile to open, no back button to hunt for.
If a rabbit is not there today, skip it. A session does not force you to complete every row.
What you can record
Two things, on both platforms:
- Weights — one weight per rabbit, which builds the same growth history as any other weight. See Weights & ADG.
- Health events — the same event applied to the animals you work through. See Health Events.
The web app also has a herd-additions mode for adding several rabbits in one sitting.
Ending a session
There is no formal end. Everything is saved as you go, record by record — leaving the screen does not discard anything, and there is no submit step to forget.
On the phone the whole session works offline. Records queue and upload when you next have signal, exactly like anything else entered without a connection.
Session versus Barn Scan
They solve the same problem from opposite ends, and picking the right one saves real time.

If your cages are carded and you are walking a row, Barn Scan — you never have to know which rabbit is in front of you. If you want "every doe", or your cages are not carded, a session — the list keeps you honest about who you have not done yet.
